Along the way we find ferns, black-eyed Susans, Queen Anne’s lace, and pause when we see just a tinge of red in the maple leaves. Autumn peaks from around the corner.

The first circular piece I’ve made, this wall hanging brightly celebrates two of nature’s glorious elements—the sun and fern. Commonly called a Sensitive Fern (Onoclea Sensibilis), this lovely specimen can bear no part of a frost, shriveling up at the first notion of such cold.
